Royal International Air Tattoo
15 / 07 / 2006 -- Fairford

RIAT - The largest airshow in Europe with military airplanes, offered also an impressing number of fighters, transporters as well as helicopters this year. Again many foreign guestplanes had been there, although the completely big highlights were missing.

Unfortunately the UK were not represented with the number of airplanes as the remaining years. Also many specialpainted airplanes stayed away.

Some airplanes which had pulled the attention on itself were the MV-22 of US Marine Corp, the C-130 of the Brazilian Air Force, the C235 of the Malaysian Air Force and the B707 of the Royal Australian Air Force which had been all invited for this year´s theme called “Rapid Global Effect”.
